Salone del Mobile 2019; takes place from nine to fourteen April, will rotate for a week around the world made in Italy design. The 2019 Salone del Mobile, in the Fiera pavilions in Rho, and in hundreds of Fuorisalone events scattered throughout the city, sees an incredible turnout.

The fifty-eighth edition of the largest global event dedicated to furnishing, intended as an environment in which to bring together a lifestyle, is the top; the best that the international market can offer.
In Milan the Desing World Cup is being played, and Italy, as always, gives the cards to the green table. Among the novelties there is “Workplace3.0”, with a renewed display mode to highlight the dynamic evolution of the working environment, to be lived in a pleasant and healthy way. Another novelty is S.Project; space dedicated to decorative interior design products. It is expected to receive at least three hundred and fifty thousand presences, with one hundred and eighty-four countries represented. Buyers and the curious will be able to count on 2,350 exhibitors, including however, there are also foreigners. Of the total foreign exhibitors are 34%. The Milan to drink, the capital of business, managers and fashion, an icon of style, presents itself as winning and rebuilding itself from scratch.
The growing furniture show
After the 2018 furniture exhibition; year of records, in which the Salone del Mobile launched its Manifesto, for 2019, it was necessary to renew itself. All this will be possible with a “chapter dedicated to ingenuity”, that something that makes Italian style unique.
Claudio Luti, chairman of the show, opened the dance, reiterating the importance of consolidating the attractive capacity of the Salone del Mobile; offering not only a wide offer, but above all opportunities for international contacts and opportunities for dialogue between creativity and business.
This year, five hundred years after his death, Leonardo da Vinci will also be remembered, a genius not only of science but also of design. The strength of the Salone del Mobile, one cannot overlook how much it is linked to the wood supply chain, linked to furnishings; a combination of values not only industrial but also cultural, of which the event is the showcase.

The furniture fair is an opportunity to show oneself internationally, for a sector that has resisted the economic crisis, and has done so because it is an excellence.
On the contrary, despite the recession and the economic crisis, the sector is growing, with an increase in production linked to the national market of + 3.1%. The preferred luxury products are Italian and win the main share in all markets. The Milan Furniture Fair will set up welcome stations located in the key points of the city manned by 100 students who will provide the public with directions. It will be possible to get information about the mobility of the city, about the fair, and about the “Milan in desing” initiatives.
The Salone del Mobile also enjoys the collaboration of “Federlegno Arredo Eventi“, with the ICE Agency, which supports the economic-commercial development of our companies abroad. The agency promotes and takes care of foreign investments in Italy.

Also this year, the Salone del Mobile in Milan will be full of interior designers in search of the “style” par excellence, and will end with a design party; which will be celebrated on Friday 12 April at Palazzo Marino. It will be an occasion to celebrate the great commitment of companies and all those designers who contribute to making Milan, the world capital of fashion and style, but not just for a week.
