And precisely for its foundation, Bocelli received the "Arena di Verona Award", on the occasion of the "Seat music award", the television awards broadcast in two evenings on Raiuno, to deliver awards to many artists from the world of entertainment and music. A restart for the whole sector that has been severely tested in the last two years for thecovid emergency. And during the broadcast, the Foundation promoted a fundraiser, presenting the latest project launched in recent months for the reconstruction of the areas hit by the 2016 earthquake.

And in fact the prize was awarded to him for "the extraordinary commitment made in the social sphere in Italy and abroad by the foundation that bears his name, and in particular for the works and activities carried out". The foundation's latest project concerns reconstruction of the Professional Institute for Industry and Crafts of San Ginesio destroyed by the earthquake in Central Italy in 2016. And it was Bocelli, receiving the award, who solicited donations to rebuild the institute and to donate a new safe and functional school to many young students, after the schools of Sarnano, Muccia and Camerino. The Bocelli foundation has built three structures, in 150 days of construction for each, the middle school “G. Leopardi "in Sarnano, the school complex" E. De Amicis "of Muccia and the Academy of Music" F. Corelli “of Camerino.

Bocelli and the presence in Venice
Not only solidarity commitment for Andrea Bocelli. In fact, recently she sang in Venice on the occasion of theopening of the Rialto bridge, after the recovery surgery. "It's a great little sign of a new and necessary renaissance - he said on that occasion -. Of a city and of a humanity that must stand up and look to the future with confidence, courage, altruism. It has been an honor to be able to offer my voice to celebrate this good news". And at the Venice International Film Festival he was also received for his commitment to the Foundation the Filming Italy Best Movie Award, conceived by Tiziana Rocca and the Sole Director of Duesse Communication Vito Sinopoli.
And also in Macerata at the Sferisterio another success for his Foundation with the event "And the stars were shining". 300 thousand euros raised for the new post-earthquake reconstruction project.
