After months of programs, announcements and hopes, finally there is a date. Gardaland reopens on June 15th, together with all the other theme parks on the national territory. To establish it is the Law Decree of May 17, which fixes the reopening step by step for a return to normality.
Gardaland reopens with the Legoland Water Park
The departure date is not the only novelty. Gardaland returns to welcome visitors with a completely new area, the Legoland Water Park (the fifth Lego water park in the world and the first in Europe). A 20 million euro project, entirely made with Lego bricks and ready to welcome everyone. Young and old. Commenting on the reopening was Aldo Maria Vigevani, CEO of Gardaland: "We are really happy to finally return to welcome our guests and to be able to offer them days of fun and entertainment". Moreover, already on May 29 Gardaland will return to host families in his Adventure Hotel. From the end of the month you can stay in one of the themed rooms (Wild West Adventure, Jungle Adventure, Arctic Adventure and Arabian Adventure). But also have dinner in the Tutankhamon Restaurant and visit the Natura Viva park.
However, the actual reopening will be on 15nd June. The park will reopen its gates confirming i security protocols already adopted in summer 2020: reservations required, QODA app to book access to attractions, temperature measurement, mask, one meter spacing, sanitizing dispensers. To enter the park, therefore, it will not be necessary to be positive for Covid-19 or subjected to quarantine. Nor have symptoms such as fever above 37,5 ° C or other flu symptoms. The attractions will be sanitized every day, and at each guest boarding and disembarking cycle (obviously, only the rides that guarantee correct and constant ventilation will be open).

Gardaland, on June 15th, will present itself with a highly anticipated novelty: the Legoland Water Park. Its Entrance Portal will resemble a big wave, Miniland will reproduce the symbolic monuments of Italy (4 million and 900 thousand are the bricks used). Even Gardaland will be reproduced, with its most iconic places and its mascot Parsley.
The water park will be crossed by the lego river adventure, a real river to travel on board a rubber dinghy (customizable with Lego). And if the little ones can have fun with the water games and the seven slides of the beach parties, parents can help them build boats and castles on the sand. Between the Duplo Splash for younger children and the Pirate Bay swimming pool, the goal of the Legoland Water Park is the same one that Gardaland has always pursued: to make everyone have fun.
