Despite initial concerns regarding possible delays in the delivery of doses of the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine, the plan in Italy appears to be proceeding smoothly. With the approval of theEMA of the Moderna vaccine, the administrations will be more and more rapid and the number of vaccinated people could grow exponentially. If you add to this the upcoming arrival of the AstraZeneca vaccine, the predictions of the consultant to the Minister of Health could also come true, Walter ricciardi, or the vaccination of half of Italians by the summer. Finally, between June and August, the Italian vaccine ReiThera, developed in collaboration with the Spallanzani institute in Rome.

The greater ease of transport of some vaccines, which do not need freezing temperatures like the Pfizer vaccine (-70 °), could be an extra help to vaccinate the majority of Italians in the shortest possible time. Italy will be able to maintain its current position in the top 3 of European countries by number of vaccinated? It cannot yet be said with certainty. If these are the promises, however, we can only hope to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel soon.
