Il Salon of the Book of Turin, after the stop of the 2020 edition due to the pandemic, it is back in attendance, with great news. The 2021 edition will take place 14 from October to 18, in the traditional location of Lingotto of Turin. The theme of the Turin Book Fair 2021 is "Supernova life", Title alluding to Dante Alighieri (of which the 700th anniversary from death), but also in the light of this explosive star, which can blind or illuminate the future, after this dark period given by the Covid-19. Among the novelties there are certainly the renovated spaces. The show will have at its disposal 18 thousand square meters e 8 more rooms compared to past editions, with the use of the Convention Center. All this of course to guarantee access for all, in compliance with the anti-Covid rules. Furthermore, another big surprise is the confirmation of the participation of the 97% of publishers of the Salone 2019, but also of great international writers.

That of the Turin Book Fair 2021 will therefore be a special edition for several reasons. As stated by the director Nicola Lagioia, on the sidelines of the press conference of last September 15: "We took the responsibility of making the Salone. Not having been able to do it in May, we moved it to October. There were two complicated things: from a logistical point of view, we enlarged the spaces so as not to create a "halved salon" due to Covid. The second concerns the program. A month ago we thought it would be a show with mainly Italian authors. However, since borders have opened, many international authors have also confirmed their presence. This was the great momentum, which would not have been possible without the publishers, but also without the institutions. It will be the edition of the Turin Book Fair with the largest program ever».

I Tickets of the Turin Book Fair 2021 can be purchased on the official website of the event (but also on site at a slightly increased price). As with other events of this type, you will need to show your own to enter Green pass at the entrance. The 32nd edition of the Salone already seems to be starting well, thanks too to the many confirmations of authors and publishers who have decided to participate. It is hoped that the turnout of the public is such as to make this event once again a great editorial success. The culture it is the very soul of Italy and can truly be the "brightest star" capable of guiding the country towards the much hoped-for reboot. We just need to focus and invest more and more in projects such as the Turin Book Fair, the Venice Film Festival and similar events related to the world of culture.
