The night before exams just passed. Thousands of students today will take their baccalaureate exam. This year for the first time in a different mode, due of the emergency health due to Covid 19. The first to suffer from the discomforts of these months were the students who had to face distance learning, made up of few relationships. And above all without being able to savor so many of those emotions that prepare for this important moment in the life of every student. But now the expected day has come. Maturity begins. No written tests but only one hour oral exam. And so for some days the schools have equipped themselves: the password is respecting the rules on social distancing and avoiding cases of contagion.
The Maturity begins, here are the methods of the exam
The Maturity begins today therefore for about 500 thousand and students last year of high school. On Monday, the 12.900 commissions and commissioners, six teachers for each of the classes that will take the exam, took office in all the cities. Internal professors, except the president. Daily cleaning of the spaces used; cleaning at the end of each exam session (morning-afternoon). The Maturity with only one oral exam
The big news this year was undoubtedly the absence of written tests. Which for many students are often the most feared obstacle of the Maturity. In fact, by June 13, the graduating students submitted their work on the address disciplines via e-mail. And from this text we will start for the interview. After the discussion on the paper, we will analyze a short text object of study in the teaching of Italian language and literature. And again the analysis of the material chosen by the commission, the exposure of the experience of alternating school-work carried out during the course of studies. Finally, space for the assessment of knowledge and skills on "Citizenship and Constitution".
So we go back to school these days. All students were admitted to the Maturity, even those with insufficiencies. It will be a great dress rehearsal to figure out how to deal with going back to school for next year. And if these exams go down in history, like all of this 2020, the Maturity experience is undoubtedly the most significant moment in the life of young people.
