Best wishes to Andrea Bocelli, the great Italian tenor, who today blows out 64 candles. The artist conquered the public and dominated the most important world stages with the power of his extraordinary tenor voice. With over twenty years of career behind her, she has to her credit hundreds of concerts and endless collaborations with Italian and international artists. One of his recent appearances is that of last June on the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in London.

Andrea Bocelli

It was born in La Sterza, a hamlet of Lajatico, in the province of Pisa, by Edi and Alessandro, owners of a farm. Since birth he has had vision problems due to congenital glaucoma which over the years has led him to blindness. A disability that certainly has never been an obstacle for Bocelli who has never foreclosed on anything. In fact, he regularly continued his studies, graduating in law in Pisa and graduating in lyrical singing at the “Giacomo Puccini” Conservatory of La Spezia.

The star on the Walk of fame

Since the beginning of his career he has sold around 80 million records. Her voice enchants and fascinates, both if he sings melodrama and if he tries his hand at pop music. A versatility that his millions of fans appreciate by following him on his continuous tours. His international consecration comes in 2010 when, after Arturo Toscanini, Anna Magnani, Bernardo Bertolucci, Sophia Loren, Enrico Caruso and Rodolfo Valentino, he is the seventh Italian to receive a star on the Walk of fame of Hollywood. It is the star of the stars bestowed by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.  Sacred arias is the best-selling classic album ever released by a solo artist. With this disc he simultaneously obtained the first, second and third position in the American charts of classical music. Definitely an incredible success for which he also entered the Guinness World Record.
