In a period of great restart and reopening, a series of initiatives return to Mann, the national archaeological museum of Naples. The evening openings to the museum to appreciate the rich heritage of treasures of the structure, which can be visited in the evening, started on 8 July on “Thursdays at Mann”. The initiative is scheduled until September 16 and you can visit the museum, from 20 to 23, paying a symbolic ticket at a cost of 2 euros, except for the free tickets provided for by law. With the evening openings at the Naples museum, the structure continues to promote initiatives to overcome these difficult months that we have spent.
Not only evening openings to the museum, but also music and guided tours
To enrich visits the Mann of Naples has also promoted some initiatives for the summer season. In fact they are scheduled guided itineraries to discover the museum's exhibitions and collections, as well as themed concerts and theater performances. The goal is to promote culture in the moonlight for a program that will go on throughout the summer.
Among the exhibitions to visit "Gladiators", which contains one hundred and sixty exhibits exhibited in the Salone della Meridiana, as well as the many curiosities in the didactic section "Gladiatorimania".

For this summer season, therefore, many initiatives are planned. Day 8 there was the Pietrasanta Choir directed by Rosario Peluso. And again in the Salone della Meridiana, the creatives of Annales Ars Campus presented to the public how to play with the “Gladiatores” videogame. The show is scheduled for next Thursday “Reading Neapolitan legends” by Francesca Muoio and Luca Trezza. The show will be in the Garden of the Fountains at 20 pm with the two actors who will tell the story of the Parneopean culture starting from the pages of literature and theater.
And still discovering the exhibition "Moebius. In search of time". The event scheduled for Thursday 22 July, from 20,30 will be organized by Comicon. An itinerary dedicated to Jean Giraud's solo show. And then the review “Behind the scenes” with the extraordinary opening of the restoration workshops. But the evening openings also include appointments for the little ones. In fact, at the end of the month, the last Thursday, “Tales from the collections”, a special itinerary, curated by the staff of the Museum for families and children to narrate, between archeology and emotions, the most important sections of the MANN.
The museum collections
So for those who want to reach Napoli, the National Archaeological Museum is one of the obligatory stops. Because it contains many collections to visit. There is an epigraphic collection, the rich Farnese collection, with its precious sculptures, the numismatic collection. And still finds from the excavations in the sites of Campania and Southern Italy and from private collecting. Mosaics, vases, terracotta and finds from the excavations of Pompeii. In short, for those who love archeology and history the Mann is a goal to be achieved. The evening openings at the Naples museum are also a unique opportunity.
