Post-pandemic Florence
After the Pandemic, Florence had to rethink. Intercontinental tourism wants to return to Italy and Florence, so much so that the city is working with Lonely Planet on new proposals. The target? Taking tourists (also) out of the historic center. The idea is to create a guide, "Florence100“, To tell the 100 square kilometers that represent the beauties of the city outside the center. Starting right from the Manifattura Tabacchi, a sort of city of the future which - born from a former cigar factory - is now a neighborhood reborn under the banner of art, fashion and design. A sort of new destination, and a new progressive and contemporary Florence.
