Buffalo mozzarella knows how to enchant every palate. In pizza, in parmigiana, accompanied by fresh tomatoes or enjoyed alone.
The buffalo supply chain from 9 to 17 July in the foreground on the Lungomare Caracciolo in the name of sustainability. Nine days of taste, art and culture on the Lungomare Caracciolo in Naples, in front of the beauties of the Gulf, with the aim of enhancing the concept of Sustainability.
But the offer will not only be of taste: Bufala Fest will also offer a large program of shows with music and comedy, show cooking by great chefs and various thematic talks with operators, experts and representatives of institutions. “Bufala Fest - not just mozzarella” is organized by the Seventeen Events, in collaboration with the Consortium for the Protection of Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP and the patronage of the Campania Region and the Municipality of Naples; Media Partner of the event: Radio Marte; Ho.Re.Ca News and Time4Stream.
The event was presented in Naples, at the restaurant "F.lli La Bufala", in via Caracciolo. Speakers: the Mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi; the Councilor for Tourism of the Municipality of Naples Teresa Armato; the Head of Promotion of the Consortium for the Protection of Buffalo Mozzarella Gennaro Testa; the Marketing Manager of F.lli La Bufala Francesca Marotta; the organizers of Bufala Fest Antonio Rea and Francesco Sorrentino; Chef Giuseppe Daddio, Director of the Dolce & Salato School.

“Bufala Fest is now a consolidated event - says Gaetano Manfredi, Mayor of Naples - and for years it has been organized in collaboration with the Consortium for the Protection of Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP. An event capable of going beyond the purely food and wine aspects and of promoting an important supply chain for the economy of our region such as the buffalo one, touching on important issues such as those of sustainability, energy saving and ecological transition, taking the form of an initiative of promotion, but with very significant knowledge and cultural aspects ".
The Organizers
“The novelties of this edition - affirm Antonio Rea and Francesco Sorrentino, Organizers of Bufala Fest - will be many and all relevant, starting from the concept of the village, functional to a completely sustainable use. Furthermore, several of our partners have chosen Bufala Fest, as a prestigious showcase to present their projects related to the green transition. This year we have developed a broad and articulated program of initiatives which, through the enhancement of the entire supply chain, intends to promote the Campania region, enhancing its environmental, landscape, cultural and food and wine resources. Bufala Fest, therefore, is configured as a real territorial marketing action, creative and imaginative but also rigorously concrete, oriented towards a target of operators and users in constant growth ".
The Theme: Sustainability
The theme of the sixth edition of Bufala Fest will be Sustainability, a concept that must be pursued through a long and constant path. The consumer is now in constant evolution, attentive to social, technological, economic and food changes. Therefore, in these years of expansion of the culture of sharing responsibility, a strong focus on sustainability issues has spread. The Bufala Village 2022, thanks to the sensitivity of partners and sponsors attracted by the theme chosen for this edition, will be characterized by an engaging concept with the aim of promoting an idea of sustainable development, capable of satisfying the needs of the present without compromising the future generations.
Free Access
Access to the Bufala Village is free, as is the viewing of shows and cooking shows in the Arena del Gusto. For those who want to taste the gastronomic delicacies proposed by our exhibitors, there are three types of tickets:
• Adult menu costing € 18,00 and includes: 1 meal; 1 drink; 1 sweet or ice cream or salty; 1 coffee; 1 liqueur.
• Children's menu costing € 15,00 and includes: 1 pizza or sandwich; 1 soft drink; 1 staple or 1 ice cream.
• Gluten Free Menu costing € 16,00 and includes: 1 pizza; 1 drink and 1 dessert.
Furthermore, on the official website of the event www.bufalafest.com there is a "Skip the Line" section from which it is possible to purchase the different types of tickets in advance, allowing a double advantage, avoiding the queue at the cash desks and receiving a beautiful gadget of the event.

The “Flavors of the Supply Chain” Contest is back, involving various operators in the food sector including chefs, pizza chefs and pastry chefs, who will compete for the scepter of the best, proposing exclusive recipes, strictly based on products from the buffalo supply chain. On the strength of the success of the previous editions, also in the next edition there will be the Miramare Exclusive, the beautiful restaurant overlooking the sea, with a magnificent view of the Gulf of Naples. A structure with a luxury concept, designed to host gourmet dinners for partners who want to welcome their stakeholders in an enchanting and unique setting in the world.

Every evening, from 9 to 17 July, thanks to the painstaking work of the Artistic Director Francesco Sorrentino, Bufala Fest will offer its visitors free shows, with a program full of sounds and comedy able to satisfy the most diverse tastes. The following shows are scheduled on the stage that will be set up in the Bufala Village: Radio Marte Show (Saturday, 9 July); Riccardo Fogli, Michele Selillo and Rita Ciccarelli (Sunday, 10 July); Monica Sarnelli and Simone Schettino (Monday, 11 July); Tony Tammaro and the Ditelo Voi (Tuesday, July 12); Dolcenera (Wednesday, July 13); Fabio Concato (Thursday, July 14); Enzo Gragnaniello (Friday, July 15); Nto ', Francesco Da Vinci, Moderup, Yoseba, Joka and Bles (Saturday, July 16); Francesco Cicchella (Sunday, July 17).
The supply chain of cultures: The Garden of Ideas
Another big news of Bufala Fest 2022 is the partnership with the cultural association “Il Giardino delle Idee”. Furthermore, also this year there will be a union with art, thanks to the prestigious collaboration with “Fonderia Nolana - Del Giudice”. In fact, Maestro Dario Caruso, a sculptor of international prestige, who, among his many works, created the statue of Diego Armando Maradona, created a work of exquisite workmanship exclusively for Bufala Fest that recalls the values of sustainability and environment protection. A special creation that will be delivered to all partners who in various ways believed in and supported the VI edition of Bufala Fest.
