Draw an animal that could be chosen for the new plush collection of the great multinational. And the nice surprise was to discover that his design had conquered the most coveted destination. And it is the first time that a drawing made by an Italian has won. A charity project we want to tell you about.
The girl who made this little dream come true
Little Christel's favorite animal is a llama. One of those you see in the areas where she lives. The 7-year-old girl lives in Venere di Pescina, a hamlet in Abruzzo National Park. On the white sheet at his disposal armed with a great imagination he drew an all yellow llama, with the pink museum, multicolor saddle and collar. The charity initiative promoted by Ikea was entitled “Design your stuffed animal” and was made in the various locations of the company, in the month of November last year. Then the selection of fifteen drawings made by many Italian children to participate in the final choice among all the other countries. And in fact the drawings were then sent to Sweden.
Ikea then chose some of them to make the soft toys of the Sagoskatt collection, 100% supportive. In fact, the proceeds from sales are donated to projects that promote the right to play. Christel's chosen out of 70 children's drawings. The soft toy made can be purchased in all the company's stores.

The mother of the Italian child also told about the initiative. Maria Teresa Mazzei said how her daughter was convinced that she had made a beautiful drawing. Of all the drawings that took part in this particular competition, one was chosen brown bear, a candy, an eggplant car, a mouse-ladybug, a man-planet and "lamma" which is precisely the lama of little Christel. "I drew a llama, an animal that I really like - the girl wrote to comment on her drawing -. I told my stuffed animal to always be with you and keep you company. Give him a lot of love, because he is special".

Christel never stopped thinking about his lama and even believing it would hit the shelves of Ikea.
