Chocolate, the sweetest manifestation of the Piemonte, get back to Torino after the two-year stop due to the emergency Covid-19. This new edition, renamed "Cioccoltò 2022 - The chocolate tour in 10 days"Will take place from October 28th to November 6st next and foresees a long and dense program made up of tastings, WORKSHOPS and various events. The goal behind Cioccolatò 2022 is to promote Turin as Italian capital of chocolate, tourism in the city and the entire Piedmontese food and wine sector. The heart of the event will be between piazza San Carlo and via Roma where, for the occasion, they can be found dozens of stands dedicated to chocolate. However, it will also be possible to taste the chocolate in various places (bars or restaurants that have joined the initiative) scattered throughout the city of Turin.
Cioccolatò 2022: the program in pills
As already mentioned, Cioccoltò 2022 - The chocolate tour in 10 days will offer a series of events dedicated to adults and children. It is not just about tastings and laboratory activities, but there are also some thematic meetings ed events off. The "headquarters", which will host most of the events is "Cioccolatò House”, Set up in Piazza San Carlo. Right there, on October 28th, the inauguration of the event will take place, which will kick off the 10 sweet themed days chocolate. Casa Cioccolatò will also host several showcooking, entitled "Chocolate with the Stars"With starred chefs torinesi of the caliber of Marcellus Trentino e Philip Novelli. 29 October The two renowned chefs will propose their version of a typical Mexican dish (tacos), naturally based on cocoa. There will also be others showcooking dedicated to Cocoa cuisine in the world, with dishes originating from Portugal, Peru, Venezuela, Cameroon, Senegal, Cameroon and Eritrea.
Starting from 28 October, on the occasion of the widespread event "CioccolaTissima" (in collaboration with Artàporter e Widespread), young artists will exhibit theirs works dedicated to chocolate in the bars and chocolate shops of Turin. From 4 to 6 November next, these works will then be exhibited in Piazza San Carlo. Other key events of Cioccolatò 2022 are the Cicco Laboratories and Conpait tasting workshops (Confederation of Italian Confectioners). During these events it will be possible to see i great master chocolatiers Turin (and beyond) and taste ice cream and other chocolate-based products. Finally, on October 31st, at Casa Cioccolatò, "ChocoHalloween”A special day dedicated to the feast of the witches, with workshops for children, games and entertainment.

Cioccolatò 2022 will also propose unscheduled events, which will take place throughout the city of Turin. From 29 to 31 October and from 5 to 6 November it is scheduled "ChocoCabrio under the Artist's Lights". It is an event to discover the history and legends of chocolate within a Convertible Bus in the center of Turin. In Piazza San Carlo you will also find the Chocolate factory, a magical place to be discovered.
