La Green certification it has now become an integral part of Italian life. From August 6th last the government made the Mandatory Green Pass to have lunch or dinner in restaurants, participate in events, festivals, fairs, enter museums, etc., but from September 1th the obligation of green certification will also extend to other sectors, first of all transport and the world of school e university. From tomorrow, in fact, all the school and university staff will show the Green Pass to be able to access school facilities. This rule will also apply for all students (who will soon resume face-to-face lessons in a few weeks), with the exception of underage students. Another novelty concerns the duration of the Green Pass (to date 9 months). The CTS has already given the green light to extend it to 12 months (always from the administration of the second dose of vaccine).

What will change with the mandatory Green Pass

The government has decided to make the Green Pass mandatory to access certain services or to use means of transport. This will be indispensable for travel by train (High Speed, Inter City and Intercity Night), plane, ships e Ferries (excluding links in the Strait of Messina). For trains the maximum capacity will be of80% in the Bianca e yellow. For airplanes, on the other hand, the maximum capacity is 100%. Even passengers traveling in bus numbers su is interregional and rental bus with driver they must be equipped with Green Certification. Also in this case, there is one on the buses maximum occupancy of 80%. On buses and regional trains o local, as well as on subways, tram e taxi, the mandatory Green Pass will not be required. Of course, travelers will still have to observe the anti-contagion measures, such as always wear the surgical mask o FFP2 during the trip.

Green Pass - Surgical masks against Covid-19

With autumn approaching and with the Sicilia already in yellow zone, it is feared an increasingly probable new wave of Covid-19 cases. THE'Green Pass requirement it is therefore an incentive to try to convince the most skeptical to get vaccinated and avoid new ones orange areas o bitchy. Unfortunately this has caused criticism from many fronts, especially from those who see the Green Certification as a limitation of individual freedom. The new government rules will be able to change the minds of those who have fear of the vaccine or should we expect new restrictions? The nightmare is not over yet, the arrival of new and more dangerous ones variants of Covid-19 is always around the corner and many regions of Italy may soon say goodbye to white area. Are we in a new quiet "before" the storm? Maybe. The future next is still uncertain and one must be ready to face this virus again by any means possible.
