Preparations are underway for the Feast of San Nicola, which in Bari will be enhanced by the acrobatic flight of the Frecce Tricolori. There will be room for the general rehearsals on May 5th at 16pm. A moment of absolute spectacle, to be enjoyed before the main event. This will be held on May 8 and below we present the complete program.
Frecce Tricolori in Bari
The final preparations for the Bari San Nicola Air Show 2022, with the Frecce Tricolori ready to whiz through the skies. The National Aerobatic Team will perform in Bari on May 8, 3 years after the last show.
The event was organized by the Air Force, the Municipality and the Aeroclub of Bari. Everything is part of the great celebration for San Nicola, with the general rehearsals scheduled for 16.00 pm on May 5th. Then, on May 8, there will be the actual event, opened by the overflight of the training aircraft.
Here's what else will precede the pivotal event:
- sea rescue demonstration of a HH-139 helicopter of the 84th Star Center, in collaboration with the Harbor Master's Office and the Coast Guard.
- simulation of the operation to contrast illicit trafficking with the Aeronavale Operations Department of the Guardia di Finanza
- flyovers of the aircraft of the flight schools' training line
At the end of all this there will be the show of the National Acrobatic Team - Frecce Tricolori. A day of strong emotions in Bari, which will attract thousands of tourists like every year for the Feast of San Nicola. It should also be noted that on 7 and 8 May an exhibition area of the Frecce Tricolori will be set up, complete with flight simulator with AMX aircraft cockpit.
