Gardaland will soon reopen to the public. This is what its CEO, Aldo Maria Vigevani promised. "Gardaland is ready to safely open the gates at the end of April for a fantastic new season, full of fun and exceptional news ”: these are his words. A statement that smacks of optimism and hope, albeit with all the necessary precautions.
Aiming spotlights LEGOLAND®

Speaking then of the news that await young and old, starting with the opening expected in May of LEGOLAND® Water Park Gardaland. Europe's first LEGOLAND® Water Park, the only one in the world in a non-LEGOLAND® branded park, has been in the spotlight for months now. Its opening is seen as a "breath of fresh air" towards the return to normalcy, a place of distraction and rediscovered laughter. The design team is currently completing the entrance portal, and the pools in which to descend from the high slides will soon be filled. A feast for the eyes of children, experienced by Dad for months and imagined hugs. A relief for the 230 employees of Gardaland, a hope for the over a thousand seasonal workers who find employment in the park every summer.
The news of Gardaland
Taking advantage of the months of closure, Gardaland worked on restyling and improvements. The workers replaced the rails of Shaman, a roller coaster with a vintage flavor. The sets by DoremiFarm e funnyexpress have been refurbished and so have the airplanes of Volaplane, which will now pay homage to the Lego world. The sessions of blue tornado they are now more padded, and the indoor shows are in the starting blocks. When they get the green light, they will give the public the themed novelty "Wonder Woman - The 4D Experience" (with attached goggles). While, outdoors, the noses of the "44 Cats Rock Show" they will put on a show. LEGOLAND®, for its part, will give breathtaking emotions. Families will be able to board the rafts and navigate the Lake River Adventure, a watercourse as long as the entire park.
Children will have fun building their boats with floating Lego bricks, and then admire hundreds of Italian monuments in micro format inside the Miniland. But there will also be the beach area with its slides, la Lego Creation Island for younger guests, and the Duplo Splash for adventurous spirits.
The security protocols
When it reopens, Gardaland will do it completely safety. The 2020 protocol will be implemented, with a further limitation of daily access, the mandatory online booking, the distancing measures and the special sanitation procedures. These procedures have made it possible not to register any contagion among the park's guests in the months of reopening. And which bodes well for the resumption of activities. All the more so that, in the near future, better improvements will be made to the QODA app and the access methods to individual attractions.
