These are the sectors and categories most affected by the new government provisions to contain the contagion from Covid 19. But they should not be left alone. And so the Ministry of Economy led by Roberto Gualtieri has made it clear that certain resources are on the way for the catering, entertainment, tourism and sports sectors. Unfortunately there is no lack of controversy, but the new dpcm was issued precisely to avoid a generalized lockdown. Aid should arrive by mid-November and will be non-repayable.

Aid to categories that have already received support, but a new request can be made

The debate between for and against continues. The government, however, ensures certain interventions. In fact, the indemnities announced serve to offset the new restrictions. They are also automatic help for those who have already requested them. But it should be clarified that the economic interventions differ between those intended for activities that will close at 18 pm and those for the other categories that will close completely.

The aid provides first of all a one-off monthly allowance for seasonal tourism, entertainment and intermittent work in the world of sport. And then a monthly payment of emergency income. The arrival of the resources is for the moment only announced. The “Refreshment” decree is awaited, which will formalize the interventions. Support that, as Minister Gualtieri has assured, could arrive by 11 November. For the totally closed categories, on the other hand, such as cinemas, theaters, gyms, swimming pools, wellness centers, game rooms, betting rooms, bingo, discos, the aid will be more economically relevant.

Taxes and installments blocked for the emergency

The government's response to help the many Italian companies affected by this lockdown, therefore, it was not long in coming. In addition, there will be a rental tax credit for two months that can be transferred to the owner and the stop of the second Imu installment.

And again among the aids provided is a new one-off monthly allowance for seasonal workers who do not benefit from the redundancy fund because they are not employees. An allowance of 800 euros for November is on the way. For associations and sports clubs, the non-repayable fund will be 50 million euros. Supporting families, who will not have access to any of the other measures, there will be an emergency income month. The refinancing of the layoffs with another 18 weeks has also been confirmed.

Aid to fight the Covid emergency
The virus is not abating and the government is aiming for mini lockdowns

"In the country there is a lot of weariness - said the Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte -. The pandemic is challenging us hard, causing anger and frustration. It is also creating new inequalities that add to existing ones. There are sections of the population hard hit, less protected people who cannot count on a salary or a fixed income. I am aware of the new sacrifices that we are asking especially of some categories: restaurateurs, owners and managers of gyms, artists, artisans. I don't like making promises, I prefer to make a commitment on behalf of the government: compensation is ready for the benefit of all those who will be penalized by these new rules".
