The international kite festival returns to Pinarella beach in Cervia and in some suggestive locations in the historic center. From 22 April to 42 May the festival, now in its XNUMXnd edition, will have as its theme “One Heaven One World". A clear message to reaffirm that from this heaven freedom, brotherhood and unity in diversity are universal values. The dialogue between peoples will be celebrated, in addition to the flight of thousands of kites, also by the special commemorative cancellation, made by Italian Post Philately, to historicize the theme of the 42nd edition: “Kites for Peace”.

The promoters of the initiative are keen to highlight that the festival delivers to the wind, together with the visual joy of its extraordinary show, also a strong message of conscious positivity. Always animated by a strong environmentalist spirit, the event also addresses the issue of sustainability, confirming the focus on climate change through an in-depth study dedicated to bees. You can have fun with the aerial photography of kites, kitesurfing; and, again, with exhibitions, thematic insights, night shows and the inevitable workshops interdisciplinary.
The wind gardens, the wind fair and the play area guarantee the ideal atmosphere to spend extraordinary days in an atmosphere of full well-being. Among the events not to be missed, the suggestive one is back on the program for the second weekend Night of Miracles. Conceived in 1999 as a poetic homage to the sea and an expression of the festival's ecological philosophy, the immersive show of wind art, music and lights will enchant the Pinarella beach on the evening of April 30th.

Guests of honor at this edition are the children of the communities present in the area, who on April 25 will be welcomed as ambassadors of a strong message of peace. In fact, they will receive the international embrace of the 200 guest artists arriving from more than 30 countries.
The workshop organized with the Festival of Cultures for "build peace by playing with art and the wind”, Will see many children of different nationalities as protagonists. Small representatives of the Ukrainian, Russian, Afghan, Lebanese, Bulgarian, Senegalese, Romanian, Moldovan, Pakistani and Chinese communities.
