A showcase overlooking the sea is the title of the docu-film about the maison E.Marinella of Naples. Written by Francesco Pinto and directed by Massimiliano Gallo, the documentary tells the 107 years of history of the famous tailoring known all over the world. "A showcase overlooking the sea " was presented in preview, in these days, at the Cinema delle Palme of the Neapolitan capital. The screening was attended by some members of the Marinella family, the cast of the film and the information operators.

Produced by Fan (Neapolitan audiovisual factory) by Rino Pinto, the film boasts the participation of Shalana Santana, in the role of the Siren Partenope and of Nunzia Schiano in the role of the shirtmaker. Gennaro Di Biase is a Neapolitan nobleman; Nello Mascia plays a doctor. Guest star, the famous Neapolitan artist Peppe Barra who takes up the "black tammurriata". In the docu-film also the famous singer Peppino Di Capri.
Director Pinto talks about the documentary and defines it “The story of a shop that looks at the sea, its gulf, looks at its city and is a story of beauty. Because beauty is a great lesson, it is a lesson that tells us that we must live civilly and without brutality. We have linked the story of E.Marinella to the history of the city. It all started when Don Eugenio decided to build the shop here, because on the other side there was the sea and a siren ”.
