Renata Busettini's diagnosis and first trip to Uganda

At the age of 18, Renata was diagnosed with hers disease with which he has lived for several years now. Life goes on as the disease slowly progresses.

At the age of 22, Renata got married and following the loss of her father, she began to follow the family business that deals with relocation and removals.

In 2005, together with her husband Alessandro, she left for theUganda. Upon returning to Italy, here is the diagnosis: girdle dystrophy. From this moment on, Renata Busettini knows what to expect. He is aware that his future will be in a wheelchair. He will learn to use the arms instead of the legs and where the arms will not reach, he will use the mind.

Together with the response of the disease comes the end of Renata's marriage but life has another surprise in reserve for this courageous woman. He begins to attend a photography course held by Max Ferrero, a photojournalist and photography teacher who has become his partner today.
