Not a record but three to celebrate the milestone of seventy years. A rebirth of course, not a "funeral" he himself clarified. This is how Renato Zero will celebrate his birthday. A gift for himself but above all for his "sorcini" the millions of fans around the world who have always followed him. The stage of the 70 candles is September 30th, the release day of the first of the three discs conceived and wanted by the singer for the occasion. A collection that is a great album of unpublished works written and prepared during the long months of lockdown. Which for him were really a source of reflection to start again.
Renato Zero presents "Zerosettanta - Volume three"
The first album will be released on Wednesday 30th and is titled “Zerosettanta - Volume three”. The second and first volumes will be released on October 30 and November 30 respectively. A unique work that many are waiting to hear the voice and music of a great artist from our Italy. In all the singer achieved 40 unpublished works that summarize his poetic vision. "In this record there is a taste of youth - he said presenting his work -, it is not my funeral but a rebirth".
And to celebrate Renato Zero's seventieth birthday, Mediaset gave him the first evening of day 29 on Canale 5 with the concert “Zero Il Folle”. These are the most beautiful images of the two sold out concerts that the artist held at the Assago Forum in Milan on 11 and 12 January 2020. And Renato Zero announced that a part of the profits will be destined for those who worked with him during concerts and is now experiencing a difficult time.
"Three ... two ... one ... Zero", a work born during the lockdown
And so three volumes, from the third to the first, just like the signal that starts his shows, a countdown so dear to his fans. At the presentation of the new work Renato Zero explained how it was born. "In this period we looked inside - he said - and we confronted ourselves. Many artists have used this time to reflect on their way of making music. I needed to exercise this power over myself. Imposing on me an absolute sincerity in concepts and contents".
The beginnings and the long career of a great artist
Renato Zero's musical debut took place in 1973. Already known on TV and very close to his sisters Bertè Loredana and Mia Martini he recorded his first album, “No! Mom, no! ". And he becomes a real character: the clothes that characterized him, the particular performances, are his success. And so he starts making new albums. Provocatore, histrionic, has released 43 albums, of which 30 in studio, 8 live and 5 official collections. He was the author of more than five hundred songs. He has written for Ornella Vanoni, Alex Baroni, Marcella Bella and Daniele Groff. And then Renato Zero spent 48 weeks in first place in the Italian ranking.
