New big names, but also unexpected returns. Within weeks of its inception, the 2022 Festival of Sanremo already promises very well. In the past few hours, Amadeus, host for the third consecutive year, announced the official list of the 22 singers competing at the Sanremo Festival 2022. However, it is a "half surprise", since last week the weekly "About"Had spoiled the names of 16 possible competitors. Some big names indicated by the weekly, such as Vibrations, Emma o Fabrizio Moro, have been confirmed by the artistic director. Other names, such as that of John Caccamo o Eugenio in Via di Gioia with Elio and the Tese Stories, they turned out to be completely wrong. This leak, however, has "forced" the RAI to bring forward the times with respect to the date set for the formalization of the list (scheduled for 15 December).
In addition to the artists already unveiled by Amadeus, the two winners of Sanremo Youth 2022, whose names will be revealed next 15th December, final evening of the singing festival dedicated to the young proposals of Italian music.

The list of the big names that will participate in the 72nd edition of the Sanremo Festival is full of great artists of Italian music, with some surprises. The first are the veterans Gianni Morandi (who will sing a song written by Jovanotti), VAT Zanicchi e Massimo Ranieri, already winners of past editions. Other great returns of former Sanremo winners are those of Elisa, Fabrizio Moro, Emma Brown e Mahmood (which will duet with Blanco). They will also come back Giusy Ferreri, Vibrations, Michele Bravi, The list representative, irama, Noemi and the histrionic Achille Lauro. Rappers stand out among the new faces Dargen D'amico e rkomi, the couple Highsnob and Hu, singer Finger in the plague, which he will duet with Donatella Rector, the songwriter Giovanni Truppi, young people Saint John, aka7even, both former members of the cast of "Amici", and the Spanish Ana mena.
However, the Festival is also made up of "large excluded"(Between controversy and not). Among the most famous names are Anna Tatangelo, Ron, Marcella Bella, Marco Masini, Dolcenera, Nina Zilli, Red Canzian, Patti Pravo and Jalisse.
