It was 1998 when, driven by necessity, Antonio left for Bologna for a job in his brother's pizzeria. It wasn't that easy to find a good pizza chef and above all to be able to afford it: that's how Antonio suddenly found himself making pizzas. And he learned quickly so much that, after less than three months and without any real teacher, Antonio even managed to bake 100 pizzas a night! Here comes Frida, a name dictated by the passion for painting and what Frida Khalo represents today. Frida is not just a pizzeria, but it is a soul that pulsates, which expresses a very specific thought and path: Antonino has focused on a counter-current and provocative place, traditional and at the same time innovative, which, like the Mexican painter Frida Khalo, changes, distorts and returns to its roots.
