The British singer-songwriter Sting and his wife Trudie Styler they launched a foundation for help Italian restaurateurs in trouble cause Covid-19. The new non-profit will be called Every Breath Foundation (from the famous passage Every Breath You Take of the Police) and will aim to support the hospitality industry in crisis. The announcement came on the occasion of the cycling race "WinRace 2021", in which 20 athletes have traveled 160 km, From Republic of San Marino, as far as "The Palagio”, The Tuscan estate of Sting a Figline Valdarno, in the province of Florence. The event was organized to sanction the "union" between San Marino and Il Palagio and to launch a fundraising campaign for the San Marino tourism sector. In fact, in April, Sting and Trudie were nominated ambassadors of San Marino, swearing in front of the Captains Regent, Marco Nicolini e Gian Carlo Venturini.

Beyond the Every Breath Foundation: Sting and the love for Italy

The Every Breath Foundation is not Sting's first demonstration of love for Italy. The former leader of the Police never hid his link with the Bel Paese. In between tours, Sting (Tuscan citizen from 2019) in fact loves spending time on his farm Il Palagio, where he also produces organic wine. When theLast year got stuck in Britain because of lockdown, Sting wanted to express his solidarity with Italy destroyed by Covid-19 with a video and a special song dedicated to what he considers his "Favorite country".

The couple Sting Styler it is no stranger to charities for helping the hospitality industry. Last April, before the launch of the Every Breath Foundation in Italy, the British artist and his wife had organized acharity auction to help American restaurateurs. The most coveted prize was a three-night stay at Il Palagio (estate built in the 500s). The event was so successful that more than dollars 140.000.

THEEvery Breath Foundation it could literally be one breath of air for the catering sector in Italy. With this new initiative, the couple once again confirms the strong bond with the much loved Italy. At the moment Sting and Trudie have not revealed all the details of the project, but they have promised that they will reveal everything in the next few days.
