The honor of being a Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy was confirmed on Paola Stranges, co-founder of the network italiani.it.

This important honor is the second civil award of the State. It is a certificate that is awarded to those who have acquired merit in promoting friendship and collaboration between Italy and other countries, with special reference to cultural, academic, scientific and technological relations.
The appointment was made by decree of the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella on the proposal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, after consulting the Council of the Order.
A great honor
The honor was conferred in the presence of SE Ambassador of Italy Mario Sammartino and his wife, Madame Federica Modena.
These are the words spoken by Paola Stranges, immediately after receiving and wearing the insignia of the Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy.
