IThe Giffoni Festival was born in 1971, from an idea of the then eighteen year old Claudio Gubitosi, who is still the artistic director of this film festival today.
Giffoni is the festival of children, of teenagers par excellence, a unique film festival in the world; where the camera game makes children grow up and grown-ups become children again.

The Giffoni Festival sees between protagonists and jurors, children and teenagers, who come from all over Italy and the world, and many international stars, love to be there.
