Great success by The Sings Morricone Flight, the new album by the Italian trio The Flight, dedicated to the famous music and soundtracks of the master Ennio Morricone. The album was released on November 5th and a series of concerts are already planned. Between March and April 2022, the trio will visit numerous cities in Canada and the United States.
In June and then again in October the Italian dates, instead, between Verona, Taormina, Rome, Milan and Turin. But it doesn't stop there. The three singers will also meet the public of our country on two instore dates, during which their latest work will be presented.
Il Volo Sings Morricone: instore dates in Italy
Last November 11, the group has announced the dates of two meetings with the Italian public, anticipating the official concerts scheduled in our country by several months. Fans will be able to attend the presentation of The Sings Morricone Flight in the following appointments:
- Monday November 29 - Milan, Feltrinelli of Piazza Duomo (Galleria Vittoria Emanuele II), from 17.00 pm
- Tuesday November 30 - Rome, Lazio Discotheque (Via Mamiani 62 / A), from 17.00 pm

The new Il Volo album
Il Volo Sings Morricone is the seventh studio album by the singing trio Il Volo, a group that won two Billboard Latin Music Awards. The disc was released on November 5, 2021 for Sony Masterworks, running up to ninth position in the Italian ranking. The project includes 14 tracks taken from the iconic film soundtracks composed by the maestro Ennio Morricone, and reinterpreted for the occasion by Il Volo in the typical style of the Italian trio. The great success
Il Volo is a young Italian pop opera trio who conquered the 2015 Sanremo Festival with the song “Grande amore”. The group consists of two tenors, Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto and a baritone, Gianluca Ginoble. Piero Barone owes everything to his grandfather who discovered his talent when he was only five years old. Ignazio Boschetto, on the other hand, has a rare talent and one day his parents heard him sing one of Verdi's arias, alone in his bedroom when he was only three years old. Gianluca Ginoble started singing when he was only three years old and he sang with his grandfather in the town square.
In 2009, all three boys signed up as soloists in the Italian music competition 'Ti Lascio Una Canzone'. The winner was Gianluca Ginoble, but the director and creator of the show, Roberto Cenci, had the vision of putting the three together to form a trio similar to “The Three Tenors”. The group was originally called 'The Three Tenors', later changed to 'The Tyro'. In 2010 the name was changed for the third and last time to 'The Flight'. They have 7 studio albums and four live albums to their credit. Over the years they have become famous all over the world thanks to their talent and the many concerts held.
Among the most important awards, in addition to the victory of the Sanremo Festival, the group has won two Latin Music Awards, two nominations at the Latin Grammy Awards and three nominations at the World Music Awards.
