What are the Sicilian comic duo Ficarra and Picone and the actor Toni Servillo doing together? A new film of course, but what a film. A film signed by the Palermo director Roberto Andò about the great Sicilian writer Luigi Pirandello. The film entitled "The strangeness", even if the title is still provisional, will be shot in the next few days in the Sicilian capital. The first take is scheduled for February and the cast will also include Luigi Lo Cascio, Donatella Finocchiaro and Renato Carpentieri.
“La Stranezza”, the plot of the film
The film tells of the roles of Onofrio Principato and Sebastiano Vella, Ficarra and Picone, two amateur actors who have to stage a new show. M.a will come across Pirandello during a return trip to Sicily in 1920. Servillo will "take on the clothes" of the Sicilian playwright, Nobel Prize for Literature.

Together with them I involved a precious friend, and extraordinary actor, Toni Servillo, and other great interpreters of our cinema".
Ficarra and Picone, the success of these months
The Palermo comedian duo in recent weeks is enjoying great success on TV with "Stuck". Now this new project, produced by Medusa Film and Rai Cinema.
