Isola del Liri in night vision

The tourist can see the Great Waterfall, or Vertical, which when in full has a bursting flow, and the Valcatoio waterfall, twenty-seven meters high. This is possible because the river splits into two arms where it is strategically located the Boncompagni Viscogliosi castle, giving rise to two natural jumps. The left arm flows into the Grande waterfall, imposing and much more scenic, compared to the waterfall that forms from the right arm. The Valcatoio waterfall is less spectacular because the waters are captured to power an electricity production plant; the jump is not perfectly vertical, but follows an inclination.
