No revolution, no drastic changes. Despite the painful relegation, Vicenza confirms everyone. The sports director Balzaretti and the coach Baldini in the first place. A truly surprising decision and in contrast to the decisions made by the clubs that are relegated. Here is the club note.
“The company LR Vicenza announces that, today, at the OTB headquarters in Breganze, a meeting was held in the presence of the members of the red and white club who examined the situation and defined the strategic lines for the next season. At the outcome of this meeting, the confidence in the path undertaken with Mr. Federico Balzaretti, at the helm of the sports management and with Mr. Francesco Vallone, at the technical direction, scouting and methodologies, was reaffirmed.
The club also confirmed Mr. Francesco Baldini as the coach in charge of the first team, for the technical and human qualities he demonstrated during the weeks at the helm of the red and white.
The club wishes them a good job, so that next season can be full of satisfactions and successes, in order to bring these colors back to the achievement of the set goals.The following press conferences will be held in the next days at the Romeo Menti stadium:
- Wednesday 1 June, at 16:00, with the President Stefano Rosso and the General Manager, Paolo Bedin;
