The "counterattack" al Covid-19 it also begins in Italy. Today, 27th December, in our country, as well as in the other countries ofEuropean Union, is the day of "Vaccine day". This is a symbolic date, which marks the start of the Vaccine Plan, which should lead to mass vaccination bysummer 2021. The first Italian to receive Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine, at 7.20 this morning it was Claudia Alivernini, a nurse in the infectious disease department of the hospital Spallanzani di Roma.

Class 1991, graduated in nursing sciences atLa Sapienza University of Rome, Alivernini, like many colleagues, has been at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus right from the start, assisting patients suffering from Covid-19 in the hospital, but not only. Thanks to his work in mobile units Usca-R of Lazio region, Alivernini also assisted patients at home. Already a few days ago, the nurse had declared at the press conference: "I proudly represent all healthcare professionals like me who have been at the forefront of this pandemic. Getting vaccinated is certainly an act of love and responsibility towards the community". Claudia Alivernini was not the only one to receive the vaccine against Covid-19 in Italy. In addition to the nurse, the infectious doctors were also vaccinated Alessandra Vergoni e Alessandra D'Abramo, the virologist Mariarosa Capobianchi and the health and social worker Omar Altobelli.
