The pandemic delivers a second GP to Misano this year. The organizers immediately set about organizing something great. There will be a party a few steps from the Doctor's house, Tavullia. The government has done its part. In fact, the capacity in sports facilities has been increased. During the first Misano GP of this year, on 19 September, it was possible to enter 25 thousand. Sunday 24, however, space for well 35 thousand spectators.
Rossi Day
The race itself will be held at Misano on Sunday 24 October 2021 but the approach to that day will begin on Thursday 21 October. This is going to be a very special day. A Rossi Day without a doubt. Here are the words of Valentino: “The previous race at Misano was already a really exciting moment for me and, of course, this will be a special home race. I really hope that the Italian fans can enjoy it. It was good to have these two weeks without races, because we had had some very busy days, also considering the trip to the United States, which was a really tough race. During this time I have been training a lot at home to make sure I can face the last three races of this season in the best physical condition. This second race at Misano will be harder than the first, as the weather is likely to be cooler than a month ago. We have to work hard to give our best, try to be a bit faster than in the last few races and fine-tune the settings to be more competitive ”.

That between Rossi and Misano is a story that has its roots in a distant past. Valentino has been linked to it since 2007. It was then that the GP returned after 14 years of waiting. The first time was dramatic but then first place for two years in a row. This is where yellow became the dominant color, which was then carried around by all of his admirers. This is where the legend was born.
A color that he will carry with him, obviously chosen by the designer Aldo Drudi (who designed many Vale helmets) for the Misano Grand Prix poster: “The characters are those of the posters of the films of the past, they evoke a story that began many years ago.
