On YouTube, the stars of the web tell their stories without filters

In the beginning it is a game. You put yourself in front of the webcam to tell a passion, show what you do best, make the online audience laugh. Just a video camera or a smartphone and in a few clicks you are already on YouTube. It's easy. But how do you turn it into a real job?

The stars of the web support themselves by posting their videos online

Most of the earnings come from collaborations with companies that send the products to be reviewed, the clothes to wear during the videos or the make-up necessary to create group tutorials to the stars of the web. Once you have exceeded the 5000 subscribers of the channel, there is then the possibility of becoming a YouTube partner. In this way, a percentage is also obtained from the advertising that the web platform puts at the beginning of each video. And there are also those who, thanks to the network, have had offline job offers.

Adriana: from english teacher to youtuber

Adriana, 28, created "Adriana Spink ", a beauty channel. She deals with make-up, with tutorials and reviews but also with fashion and hair.
She posted her first video in 2014. After a make-up course and after seeing dozens of tutorials from American colleagues, she decided to get involved. But he didn't think of making it a job, since he was already an English teacher.
The first year everything went slowly. In the first twelve months it had 5000 subscribers. The following year, on the other hand, it boomed: it reached 200000. And collaborations also began, becoming the testimonial of a brand. So the young youtuber decided to abandon teaching and devote herself exclusively to her channel.

Serena and his YouTube channel Matcha Latte

Serena, 28, opened the channel in 2010 YouTube Matcha Latte which today has 108.000 members.
Matcha Latte is a typical Japanese drink. Hers is a channel that deals with travel and Japanese culture. In the videos he tells about his adventures around the world giving tips for traveling even low cost. But every now and then he also talks about his daily life.
Serena, one of the stars of the web, moved to Japan in 2010 for a year and a half. In that period he kept a video diary and then gave life to his channel. His job is more difficult than someone who deals with make-up or clothes. Collaborations are scarcer and travel is very expensive.
