Christmas is a step away and there will be a lot of rules that you have to respect to celebrate in safety. National provisions will need to be taken into account, as well as regional and local ordinances. As far as travel is concerned, you must inform yourself about the rules of the countries of arrival. These may vary from case to case. What does not change, however, are the steps to follow upon returning to Italy, which we will explain later.
Christmas, Covid rules
In general terms, the color of your region should be taken into account. To date, there is no red color, which leads to a forced quarantine, only yellow and white. The difference between these two colors comes down to just one element: the mask outdoors. This is mandatory in the yellow zone.
Movements between regions
As regards travel between regions, however, no certificate is required, as long as you use your own means of transport. The speech is different for public ones, such as trains, long-distance buses and airplanes. You must have the Green Pass (basic version, also obtainable with a buffer).
If you mean move between two yellow regions a Christmas (or in another period) the Super Green Passes. This applies to all public transport, where regular green certification will be required. On the private front, however, there will be no control and therefore the obligation to have a certification with you. In which cases will a tampon therefore be necessary? That said, don't get the impression that everything is possible with your own private means. There is also regulation in this case. In the passenger compartment, safety distances must be maintained in the event of non-cohabiting people. The driver must stand in front, alone, while behind him two people are allowed per row. This means that three people will be able to board a classic five-seater. Speech that obviously does not apply to a family unit.
Travel at Christmas, rules
In case of trips abroad, local health rules must be taken into account, depending on the country chosen. These can change from day to day, depending on the infection curve. Instead, what applies to everyone is the regulation to follow for a safe return to Italy, avoiding a mandatory quarantine period. In fact, this is the measure envisaged in the event that the implemented devices are not respected.
On December 14, the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza signed a new ordinance, which requires an effort also from all vaccinated people in possession of the Green Pass thanks to two or three doses. Upon returning to Italy you will have to present your QR Code to certify the inoculation, as well as the Digital Passenger Locator Form. the mandatory nature of a negative pad carried out in the 24/48 hours prior to arrival.
The situation is different, however, for the unvaccinated. In their case, a period of 5-day fiduciary quarantine, at the end of which a molecular or antigenic swab must be carried out.
