Cineteca Milan celebrates 40 years of ET the most famous extraterrestrial in cinema created by the wizard of special effects, Carlo Rambaldi, three times Oscar winner. Saturday 5 November ET returns to the big screen to inaugurate the 15th edition of Piccolo Grande Cinema at the Cineteca Milano Arlecchino. The festival, thanks to Cineteca Milano and the collaboration with Universal Pictures Home Entertainment, hosts a special screening of the film ET Projection which will be accompanied by a greeting from the actor Henry Thomas (the little Elliott of the film), and an exclusive video contribution from the director Steve Spielberg.

In the foyer of the cinema it will also be on display the Kuwahara bicycle, used during the shooting, which have remained etched in the collective imagination of many generations for 40 years now. Sunday 6 November at the Cineteca Milano Mic (Interactive Cinema Museum) opens its doors "ET La Mostra 1982-2022". An extraordinary exhibition, unique in Italy, curated in collaboration with Carlo Rambaldi Cultural Foundation led by the sons of the great master of cinema: Victor and Daniela.

On display many spectacular artifacts concerning the film and the creation of the most loved extraterrestrial even today. An exhibition itinerary that is an exhilarating experience, a full immersion in the inspiration and creativity of the great Rambaldi. Together with the intuition and genius of a director like Spielberg, one of the most important in the history of cinema. The exhibition is also enriched by workshops dedicated to ET and intended for schools and families.
