Marzamemi and its Festival full of history

Why border? Marzamemi is a beautiful location, at the extreme tip of eastern Sicily. But “frontier cinema” is not intended as marginal, but rather a cinema that questions itself, understood in its symbolic, as well as its geographical value. It's "Territorial and cultural borders, but also of the soul and languages" those on which we have been wondering for years in this place, made famous by many films such as "South" by Gabriele Salvatores. And in fact, Marzamemi owes her celebrity above all to cinema and to the great directors who have chosen her. A place discovered precisely for the suggestive images of many films, which have immortalized the beauty of a charming town.
