Today, April 9, the data disclosed by civil protection are not as positive as in the previous days.
The spread
Yesterday an increase in the growth of the infections was recorded: 3,836 daily infected patients. Unfortunately, this number has grown today, with 4,204 infections (+368 compared to yesterday). The data recorded yesterday and today, however, are a consequence of a much higher number of swabs. Yesterday 51,680 tests with 7.4% of positive results. While, today the number of swabs is 46,244 with 9.1% of positive results.
Other important data
The number of the daily current positive cases is also increasing, from 1,195 yesterday to 1,615 today (+420). The number of people healed falls slightly, but still remains very high with 1,979 healed patients, which is very encouraging. There was also a slight increase in the daily percentage changes, or how the growth in percentage terms of the total cases varied day by day, given that it went from 2.83% yesterday to 3.02%.
From hospitals
The positive trend continues in the data regarding ICU patients: today there is a drop in the total number. 88 less patients have been hospitalised. The number of patients hospitalized with symptoms also decreased, 86 fewer hospitalised. Good news for doctors and nurses, who have been facing a critical situation.
