The third edition of the 'green week' organized by Acqua dell'Elba – Società Benefit returns from 21 to 27 November. And by the Acqua dell'Elba Foundation, a non-profit organization created to help protect the island's ecosystem and enhance its social and cultural heritage.

A week of events, workshops and initiatives that will focus on the care of the territory and people, with particular attention to future generations. Possea Project

The education sector will also be fundamental for 2023 for the Acqua dell'Elba Foundation, with a series of initiatives that will kick off during Green Week. On 24 November, at the Istituto Foresi, the 'Possea' project by Marta Musso, a young marine biologist and winner of the 2022 Donna di Mare Award, will be presented to students of Elba's secondary schools. Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of Unesco in the context of the Decade of Marine Sciences for sustainable development (2021-2030). With "Possea" Marta Musso has transformed an old German postal van into a traveling laboratory to tell and explore the world of plankton, between field experiences and learning workshops.
