Ludo & Felix, this will be the name of the amusement park that will be born in Maddaloni, in the province of Caserta. It will be the largest theme park in Europe: the impressive project will be presented to the governor of the Campania, Vincenzo De Luca. The new park will be built on an area of 100 hectares falling on the site of the former Cementir di Maddaloni quarry. This is a larger area than that of Disneyland Paris, with its 58 hectares, and of Gardaland which is currently the largest theme park in Italy.
Ludo & Felix
Ludo & Felix will be divided into two different communicating areas: Ludo, il theme park which will affect 40 hectares and Felix, the cultural center, which will be developed on 60 hectares. An innovative project made possible thanks to an investment of 400 million euros, of which 270 million from PNRR funds and 130 million from private individuals. The large structure will contribute to creating employment with 3500 new job opportunities, including direct (1500) and indirect employees (another 2000).

"The metropolitan area of Naples is the only one to date without a tourist-cultural accommodation facility, which is in line with modern Italian structures. It is evident that this great and innovative project, which can also contribute to environmental redevelopment, can only be realized if the conditions of absolute harmony between companies and public bodies exist. The Maddaloni-Marcianise area is in a prestigious position in terms of territorial mobility, both for southern Italy and for the connection between the coastal and inland areas of the Peninsula. An intervention of this kind becomes a work of completion in an organic sense, which can give an impetus to the territory and which can be translated, within a few years, into an economic driving force such as to completely change the socio-economic conformation of the area.".
