Comunicato stampa

The activity of the Museum of Farming Civilization of the Imperial Friuli of Aiello del Friuli has resumed, with the event for the heading to the Senator Vera Squarcialupi, recently deceased, of the women's work room.
The senator, sensing the imminent end, had donated to the Museum, in the spring of this year, all the finds, already present in the structure by way of free loan since the nineties and coming from an exhibition at the Sforzesco Castle in Milan.

For the occasion the President Michele Formentini, who had been in contact with the senator for over twenty years, wrote a publication biographical sketch of Dr. Squarcialupi, which was presented by the Conservator of the Museum arch. Mauro Nocchieri.
After the ritual cutting of the ribbon and affixing the plaque, the guests were able to admire the more than a thousand finds exhibited in the special showcases. Local authorities were present, including the Mayor of Aiello Andrea Bellavite, that of Campolongo Tapogliano Alberto Urban and numerous guests.
Moderator of the evening Iolanda Marin, Vice President of the ONLUS that manages the Aiello Museum.
