Bosa is one of those villages not to be missed during a visit to Sardinia. It is an obligatory stop for every tourist, with its ancient history and bright colours, both the natural ones and the artificial ones of the houses located below the imposing Malaspina Castle. To reach the village you need to go to the west coast of this magnificent island. Bosa is located in the central northern part of Sardinia. Bosa story
The origins of Bosa are very ancient, dating back to prehistoric times. They prove it house of janas, or the funerary caves carved into the rock. Dominating the town from above is the Malaspina Castle, built in 1122 by the Tuscan Malaspina family. Observe everything from the top of the Serravalle hill, which can be reached by climbing a steep staircase. Inside the walls is the church of Our Lady of sos Regnos Altos, enriched by a cycle of frescoes of the Spanish school, from the period between the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. To complete the list of religious buildings there is the church of San Giorgio, located on the bank of the Temo, dating back to the XNUMXth century.
