toys

An almost fairy-tale setting for gods toys made by 1860 to 1940. However, there are also the oldest ones, starting from the first half of the eighteenth century, very rare pieces and sometimes unique, demonstrating the ingenuity and extraordinary technical and artisan skills of their creators. Also on display are pieces belonging to Vincenzo Capuano's valuable collection of antique toys, which has collected thousands of them. The fair, inside the historic State Archives, is very close to San Gregorio Armeno, the characteristic way of cribs unique in the world.

The State Archive

It was born as "General Archive of the Kingdom” with the royal decree of 22 December 1808, with the aim of bringing together in the same room the ancient archives of the institutions existing until the arrival of Giuseppe Bonaparte in Naples in 1806. It preserves the funds relating to the Civil status of Naples and the civil status of the province Neapolitan from 1809 to 1865.
