Concert for the Republic Day

The concert program, for bowed instruments only, will alternate between Italian and European authors. The orchestra will perform the great classics that have now carved out a place of honor in the musical history of the twentieth century. This concert will take place without spectators, in compliance with anti-Covid security measures.

The orchestra teachers themselves will perform keeping the necessary distance, as they impose the provisions established by the national executive to deal with the pandemic. After the performance of the Hymn of Mameli, the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella will also greet the viewers.

“The selected program reflects the tragedy we are coming out of and looks with optimism towards a more peaceful future – says Maestro Gatti – They are short-lived heartfelt songs, capable of speaking to the heart even if you are not in the best musical conditions”.
